Delta appoints Christophe Odiévre to lead the sales activities within the solar business in France
Mr. Christophe Odièvre started in October 2011 his new role as Sales Manager France at Delta Energy Systems (France) S.A. He is located in the Delta subsidiary in Lisses, France, in order to offer local support for the French customers. Delta Energy Systems (France) S.A. employs 15 people and operates as sales and logistics office in the telecommunication and solar business.

Electric Power Generation from Solar Power
The systemic evolution away from fossil and nuclear energy sources to a one-hundred percent energy supply based on renewable energies can be achieved much faster than is frequently discussed. By 2020, renewables can already ensure half of the German electric power supply. They could therefore not only completely compensate for an exit from nuclear energy, but in addition could supply affordable and environmentally friendly electrical power.

SOLIVIA solar inverters from Delta - Now applicable for the growing UK market
The solar inverter manufacturer Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH is entering the UK PV market, focusing on residential installations. The string inverter models SOLIVIA 2.5, 3.0 and 3.3 EU G3 with an output power ranging between 2.5 and 3.3 kW will be available from September on.

Delta sponsors SOLIVIA solar inverter for the energy and light park of EnBW
At the end of May 2011, the company EnBW Regional AG opened the Energy and Light Park [Energie- und Lichtpark] in Rheinhausen. Six stations located in the park provide information about the various possibilities of renewable energy generation. Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH provided a SOLIVIA solar inverter for the area dedicated to photovoltaics, in order to give interested visitors a better understanding of photovoltaic technology.

Delta launches a new product line on the market - the ASP off-grid inverter series
Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH will soon also offer inverters which are not depending on the electrical grid - so-called off-grid inverters or stand-alone inverters. The ASP off-grid products are robust and have proven themselves again and again in practice. This allows Delta to expand its existing grid-connected line with innovative stand-alone solutions.

Delta changes the cut-off frequency for the SOLIVIA solar inverter
Given the further increases in photovoltaic installations in Germany, and to avoid technical grid-related problems, the Forum for Grid technology/Grid operation (FNN) of the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE) recommended in a Technical Instruction published in March 2011 a change to the cut-off frequencies of PV installations in the event of high grid frequencies of more than 50.2 Hz. This recommendation applies to all inverters installed on or after 1 April 2011 in Germany.

Delta extends standard warranty for european Solivia solar inverters
Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH extends the standard warranty for all European SOLIVIA string inverter models from 5 to 10 years beginning from the invoice date, May 1st. The standard warranty of 5 years will remain for the CM and CS central inverter product lines.

SOLIVIA Solar Inverters from Delta Confirmation of Compatibility certified by First Solar
The string inverter product line SOLIVIA 2.5, 3.0, 3.3 and 5.0 EU G3 as well as the Central Inverter product line with an output power ranging from 44 to 100 kW are certified with a confirmation of compatibility in combination with the FS-Series 2 and FS-Series 3 modules by First Solar. The thin film solar modules from First Solar represent the latest advancements in thin film solar technology.

Delta generates strong interest for its Solivia Solar Inverters at Solar Power International – Presence in North America expanded
Delta Energy Systems showcased its new SOLIVIA Solar Inverter line for the North American market at the Solar Power International show including the newly announced 250 kW Commercial and Utility-Scale central inverter. Delta has been designing and developing its solar inverter products at its Teningen, Germany location since 1999 and now brings its highly efficient and reliable solar inverters to the North America market. Starting in 2011, the new central inverter line will be produced at Delta’s existing Los Angeles location, with an initial production capacity of 1GW. The Los Angeles facility will also be the headquarters of Delta Energy’s newly formed North American Operations Group, covering the Production, Sales, Service and Support organizations.

A 250W SOLIVIA micro inverter designed by Delta will be on display at the Intersolar NA tradeshow in San Francisco. This is the second generation micro inverter, since in 2002 Delta Energy Systems shipped the world’s first solar micro inverter into the Belgium market.

The SOLIVIA AP product line from Delta – developed for the Asian-Pacific markets - were tested by a testing laboratory and are now approved and listed by the Clean Energy Council in Australia. The CEC – abbreviation for Clean Energy Council – is the peak body representing Australia´s clean Energy Sector. The industry association develops and advocates effective policy to accelerate the development and deployment of all clean energy technologies.

Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH successfully launched the new websites for the European, North American and Asian Pacific Solar Inverter markets. Now Delta improves the website with even more simplified and user-friendly features for their global customers. The first step is to implement additional language versions to present information to customers and the public in their mother tongue. Now the first Asian language – Korean – is added to the website.
